Thompson Calls for Border Security Field Hearings

Today, Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, learned that the House Republican leadership will hold a series of Homeland Security field hearings to examine gaps in our nation’s border security.
After hearing of the Majority’s plans, Congressman Thompson requested that the Committee undertake a number of very specific field hearings that will shed light on critical vulnerabilities at the borders.
